Basic Beginner Bellydance Course
This class is designed for students new to Bellydance. In a simple and fun format students will learn the break-down of some of the basic movements. We then put them together each week to create a short and fun choreography. (Registration required no drop ins)
Polishing the Basics Bellydance Course
Designed for students who have taken the Basic Beginner Course 3 or more times and want to continue learning. We will review and polish the basics, add new variations to them and learn the next series of movements. This course is also great for those more experienced students wanting to clean up the basics. (Registration required no drop ins)
Continuing Bellydance Course
Designed for students who have taken the Basic Beginner and Polishing the Basics Courses 3 or more times. Basic moves will be layered to other movements, new steps will be introduced adding them all together in step combinations. Detail to technique and posture will be highly emphasized. Zills (finger cymbals) will be introduced. (Registration required & drop-ins allowed – Zills required)

Polishing the Basics & Continuing students can make up 2 missed class per session, by doubling on the next class (taking the next level up or a level below).
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Bellydancing is an expressive art form that celebrates the feminine body through it’s uniquely designed movements. The movements are characterized by intricate body isolations with a main emphasis on the hips and torso. However, the entire body gets a full low impact workout. The movements will help stretch and tone your body, increase your stamina, body control, and awareness. Bellydance is for all ages, body shapes and cultural backgrounds. Come celebrate this beautiful feminine art form in a supportive and fun atmosphere!
- Wear comfortable workout clothing, bare feet and a hip scarf (hip scarves are available for purchase at the studio).
- Please inform the teacher before class of any injuries.
